Composer Henry Martínez has been a vital guide for El Libro Real.

The musical experience of Henry Martínez—composer of songs such as Sentida canción, Dos Carlos, El afinador de gallos, among many others—is immense and invaluable. Henry played with Luis Laguna in the group Venezuela 4 and was influenced in his youth by that original composer. He also accompanied many artists, including Cecilia Todd and Lilia Vera, among many others.

Having his generous support for many years, and especially during the review process of El Libro Real was not only vitally important, but also a great pleasure! For several months in 2017, Henry came to work early in the morning and left in the evening after long hours of musical debate and experimentation reading the charts.
